I LOVE this pattern from OhanaCraft. She’s got a great tutorial on YouTube that shows you step by step how to make one of these bunnies.

I also adapted her pattern to make a kitty instead!

I just love them!
P.S. they are for sale!

I had a special request for a gender-neutral baby gift for a couple who are waiting for the baby to be born to know what they have, and who also like the outdoors and country cabin living.

So we came up with this little guy. The inspiration came from – of course – Pinterest.

I found this great pack of chenille yarn in different shades of brown on Amazon and set to work designing the head and antlers for myself.

Because I needed him to be safe for baby, I went ahead and made these crochet eyes for him. They give him the cutest face!
I hope that he will be treasured for years to come 🥰

So, I had this yarn – a huge ball of yarn – and it was brown, but I could tell that it also faded to a sort of buff/tan color. I originally was going to do a teddy bear with it. Then I realized that the colors would be perfect for Siamese kittens. And it worked! The dark bown faded naturally into the lighter color after I completed the feet and worked towards the rest of the body. And when I started making the head, it faded naturally to from light to dark. The ears and tail also came from the dark part of the yarn. They turned out so cute!

These are one-of-a-kind crochet kittens because this yarn is no longer available. If you’d like to own them, hop on over to my shop and get them before they are gone!
